Herman Potgieter

Herman Potgieter, one of our young people from Kraaifontein, who served the Lord under our ministry during 2002/2004,  is now staying in Okahandja. He and his wife Maré invited us for a kudu-steak braai on the Thursday night. It was wonderful to spend an evening with them in fellowship. Their excitement in serving the Lord really blessed me and Alta. 

Namibia AFMIN On10 School - September 2012

After the May 2012 AFMIN School was cancelled, we all were looking forward to the School being planned for September 2012 at Elim in the Okahandja area.

We gathered the Monday night for a prayer meeting. Pastor Ron Gardener ministered on the importance of prayer in the Ministry. An hour of corporate prayer was set aside for this opening night.

On the Tuesday morning, 61 students registered for the third semester. We welcomed 16 new students! We knew from the start that teaching 4 subjects in 4 days would be a tough task! Dr. Gert Basson taught on the subjects of Planting a Church and Effective Preaching, while Ron Gardiner and myself taught on Spiritual Warfare and Spiritual Leadership respectively.

On our way back to the RSA we spent the Weekend with our dear friends Johan and Berdine de Klerk from Karas in the southern part of Namibia.

God willing , we are planning to be back in Namibia in May 2013.
